The students will be working on a Marketing Plan in groups of 4 throughout the semester. The Plan includes: 1. Selection of Organization/Small Business 2. Executive Summary 3. Mission Statement and Vision Statement 4. Environmental Analysis • Marketing Environment • Target Market(s) • Current Marketing Objectives and Performance 5. SWOT Analysis • Strengths • Weaknesses • Opportunities • Threats • Matching Strengths to Opportunities/Converting Weaknesses and Threats 6. Marketing Objectives 7. Marketing Strategies • Target Markets (list 4) • Marketing Mix 8. Marketing Implementation • Marketing Organization • Activities, Responsibilities, Timeline for Completion 9. Performance Evaluation • Performance Standards and Financial Controls • Measuring Actual Performance 10. Examples of collateral materials (social media posts, flyers, etc.)
