Honors students are asked to work on a 15 page research paper. The task at this stage is to begin vetting and gathering appropriate source materials for their projects.
 

To have a sense of where to look for sources, how to vet sources as appropriate, and to begin to develop a connection to library staff as excellent resources. I can also flex the instruction date to the 15th if that works better for the librarians. Syllabus is still a work in progress, don't read too much into what's there yet. I'm adapting the FYE course I'd run to fit Honors' parameters.
